Senior PMO Analyst

Surrey - Redhill area

Salary between £40,000 and £45,000 plus bonus and benefits

We are looking for a Senior PMO Analyst on behalf of a leading and renowned online Financial Services company, based in Surrey, who are undergoing large digital transformation and significant growth.

Principal Accountabilities:

Updating and maintaining the Portfolio plan. This includes some driving of supplier & internal development parties via matrix management, to ensure congruent plans and deliverables. Also, help to identify issues and risks related to individual changes which in turn may impact the Portfolio.
Construction of materials that support bi-weekly weekly capacity planning meetings. Driving accountable delivery owners to balance resource supply against demand; whilst ensuring the overall Portfolio remains on track for delivery. Escalating to the Head of Change if resource issues apparent.
Ensuring that monthly tracking of costs is applied consistently and with rigour between the projects, finance and reflected accurately within Portfolio Health.
Generate Change functional reporting into different levels of the organisational structure, from IT Leaders through to Group Executive
Drive the Portfolio New Request process, from receipt of request, through to addition to stack. Ensuring transparent controls around the process and that it is reported on effectively.
Working within and assisting the function to prepare up to date information for; Fortnightly Group Exec meeting, New Request meetings, Portfolio Dependency sessions as requested, Weekly Project Status sessions, Monthly Capacity and Resource Planning meetings and others as deemed part of Portfolio remit.
To help ensure that all projects adhere to our governance processes and procedures (delivery framework and associated documentation). Upkeep and maintenance of these including continuous improvement.

Skills & Experience required

Solid experience of working as a Senior/PMO Analyst across Change, Transformation and/or IT projects.
Candidates must have demonstrable experience of taking ownership and accountability of their work as well as being able to improve and implement new process.
Working knowledge of project development life cycles, project management, project management tools, and project management methodologies and frameworks.
Experience of using various resource planning tools.
Financial services experience
Strong experience and ability dealing and engaging with senior stakeholders
Good communication and presentation skills are required as are good interpersonal and people management skills.
