Business Development Manager - Telecoms
Milton Keynes

As a sales and new business development manager you will be responsible for achieving and overachieving sales targets and prospecting for new business opportunities. You will be able to identify and engage with customers and potential customers, both strategically and proactively.

Key responsibilities and accountabilities:
Identify and approach new strategic prospects, to proactively sell a portfolio of Cloud based Telephony, Media processing and Voice Biometrics solutions
Effectively develop and manage a prosperous revenue pipeline
Continuously improve upon your sales skills and capabilities in software, PaaS and SaaS solutions
Manage accounts and territories delivering an agreed budgeted forecast and revenue
Identify, Qualify and convert sales leads
Act as prime (not sole) point of contact for named accounts/territories
Visit and take part in industry events, conferences, exhibitions
Sharing account intelligence and account plans both through CRM and through account reviews at sales meetings

Core skills & requirements
Demonstrated minimum of five years successful sales track record in software, PssS and SaaS in the communications / ICT sector
Sales experience within the telephony and/or contact centre industry
Proven track record of success in New Business Development
Self-motivated and driven with a passion for successr
Should have Integrity, honesty and be trustworthy
Negotiation skills with commercial acumen
Educated to degree level desirable
