Working in a highly target driven environment, the Service Delivery Manager role is a sales focussed BGS role and has the responsibility to manage, grow and effectively deliver the business targets and objectives for the client base of BGS.

What you’ll be doing:
• Assist with the management of new business prospects, pipeline management, and event management inclusive of lead generation events, workshops and masterclasses, campaign management in conjunction with the marketing team and the production of management reports as required by senior management.
• Achieve and exceed set business objectives for acquisition of new clients and new business sales for Business Growth Services
• Maximise business retention and new business opportunities with existing clients and through referrals from clients to meet and exceed business objectives and targets
• Develop effective strategic relationships with their new business opportunities and manage the day to day prospect requirements to maximise conversion rates and ensure first class service delivery and client care
• Work with the wider Business Growth Services team to develop and deliver introductory workshops, events and activities for interested organisations to drive the new business sales process
• Maximise product penetration and support the sales process of all available BGS products and services through developing a comprehensive understanding of all products and services
• Promote BGS at both internal and external events
• Understand client markets and wider economic influences on the clients' business
• Establish and maintain collaborative relationships with key internal teams and external stakeholders to promote services and facilitate high quality referrals to additional support
• Remain up to date on all offerings available through Business Growth Services, and in the wider landscape of business support.

Who we're looking for:

• Highly credible and experienced sales person with experience of b2b sales
• an excellent understanding of how relevant market sectors work and the challenges and barriers to the business and organisational growth
• Proven track record in a target orientated environment
• Sophisticated networking, business development, influencing and selling skills appropriate to the client base
• The ability, knowledge and experience in a broad range of strategic business skills to identify barriers to growth and determine suitability of products and services to the clients
• Strong networking and team work, administration, CRM and data Management, business development support, client query management and highly personable
• Demonstrate the ability to show entrepreneurial drive to generate, meet and develop new prospects that convert into paid clients, closing all opportunities in a timely manner
• Able to work in ambiguity and use knowledge and skills to help shape own workload and activity to deliver on outcomes
• Self-starter and able to manage own time effectively to achieve agreed targets
• Able to develop good personal relationships with colleagues, senior management in client companies and with a wide range of business support specialists
• Effective service delivery skills with attention to client satisfaction
• Excellent spoken and written communications skills
• Excellent verbal communication and influencing skills
• Dynamic self-motivated individual with evidence of innovation and initiative
• Able to develop good personal attention to detail, numeracy skills and commercial awareness
• Robust analytical and reporting skills
