InterQuest Solutions are delighted to be working with one of their most successful investment management clients supporting them with the recruitment of an Events Coordinator. The key focus of the role is to assist in the execution of exceptional client and prospect experiences, in line with Power Shares’ brand attributes, enhancing our effort to increase awareness in EMEA.

Job duties:
• Deliver a range of high quality events (seminars, conferences, dinners, exhibitions, third party events, corporate hospitality etc.) from inception to completion
• Follow event management procedures to ensure that events are fully project managed and that information relating to each event is accurately captured and communicated to relevant parties
• Undertake site visits in support of research and preparation of event proposals
• Develop and maintain successful working relationships with colleagues and external clients and suppliers
• Update CRM system (Salesforce and Hub spot)
• Track costs against the event budget
• Attend and run events efficiently on the day
• Maintain venue and supplier knowledge and keep up-to-date with latest developments in the events and financial services industry.
• Understand and comply with corporate guidelines, relevant corporate legislation and compliance regulations
• Work effectively independently and as a team player within local Power Shares EMEA team, broader company marketing team, department and wider organisation
• Make a personal contribution to wider departmental/cross-functional projects when required

Required skills:
• Previous experience and expertise in event management
• Desire to deliver business focussed events to the benefit of both company Power Shares and our clients
• Experience of working within a collaborative marketing department
• Effective project management skills
• Proven time management skills
• Able to learn quickly in a fast-paced work environment
• Proven multi-tasking ability
• Excellent written and oral communication skills
• Ability to work under pressure
• Self-motivated, organised and flexible
• Attention to detail
