GDPR Project Manager

The GDPR Project Manager will work directly with the Data Privacy Deputy.

Key accountabilities:
- Lead & deliver GDPR implementation project including; scoping, stakeholder management, communication, training & compliance for the organisation, in line with GDPR guidelines
- Take direction from & align with the Data Privacy Steward & Deputy on all activities
- Effectively influence business leaders/leadership teams to prioritise and integrate GDPR requirements into their agency’s processes and way of working
- Create & agree a project plan scoping out the project goals, key stakeholders, deliverables, timelines & key milestones
- Review the audit of all data storage, systems, processing and transfer of personal employee and personal client data
- Ensure alignment of all activities across the business in relation to Data Security & GDPR
- Identify, communicate and put in place appropriate mitigation for risks & dependencies
- Organise & run regular project status update meetings as agreed with Data Privacy Steward & Deputy & other key Stakeholders
- Provide regular written reporting on project status using Red/Amber/Green to key Stakeholders
- Develop and maintain project documentation such as the Records of Processing Schedule, Data Protection Framework and any other appropriate procedures or supporting documentation
- Communicate key project milestones & successful delivery of these to the key stakeholders
- Train all employees starting with UK Board in GDPR requirements, implementation & on-going compliance & their responsibilities within this

Your skills & experience:
- Proven experience as a Project/Project Manager
- Thorough understanding of project/programme management techniques and methodology
- Comprehensive working knowledge of full project life cycle & ability to apply this to GDPR implementation
- Excellent knowledge & experience of delivering change
- Proven track record of effective stakeholder management
- Ability to communicate effectively
- A self-starter with good planning, analysis, organisation and judgement skills are essential.
- Excellent interpersonal skills, confidence and ability to interact professionally with people at all levels.
- Experience of working in Data Privacy/Data Protection desirable but not essential
