Sales Development Representative

My client, an exciting software vendor start-up who are experiencing rapid growth, are looking for a Sales Development Rep to join their UK team. There is incredible opportunity to progress your career and grow with the role.

The company have created an innovative solution in the lucrative Fintech space and already have some impressive client wins. They have received backing from leading tech start up enablers and have huge growth plans, aiming to double YoY. With further growth forecasted in the immediate future, they require a strong sales team to drive that growth.

This is the first role of this nature within the business and the chance to grow with the role is immense. Whether you want to manage a growing SDR team or move into a full sales cycle enterprise sales role, you will have opportunity to achieve these aspirations within a short timeframe. The role will consist of seeking out new business opportunities through outbound calls over a variety of campaigns. You will identify opportunities through warm leads and cold calls, generate interest, qualify opportunities and educate potential customers. You will work closely with the field sales team and marketing department to define target markets, qualify opportunities and design campaigns. You will bring fresh ideas to the table, be self-sufficient and have an opportunity to help scope the role.

To be considered for this position you will have demonstrable experience in a similar role of business development, preferably in a SaaS / Cloud software environment. You will understand technology solutions and how to effectively prospect this to potential customers. You will be a motivated self-starter with high activity rates and be commercially astute.
