Head of Service Design

My client is seeking a Head of Service Design and Consultancy. The successful candidate will have full responsibility for designing complex managed services offerings for existing and new customers whilst also managing a team of technical Pre-Sales Architects. The focus of this role is to support the sales teams in the pre-sales environment to identify and create opportunities to grow relationships with both new and existing customers.

Responsibilities:
Take ownership and manage the design of all managed services offerings ensuring timely submission.

Development of service propositions and collateral including presentations.

Write and review proposals from inception to final delivery, managing to meet schedules through the Requests for Information (RFI), Requests for Quote (RFQ) and Requests for Proposal (RFP) process.

Ensures all project and development initiatives are advised and well prepared for transition to business as usual support.

Managing and maintaining the service portfolio, detailed design of support models, creating documents to enable transition of services, ensuring Service Level Agreements (SLAs) and Operational Level Agreements (OLAs) are formulated and maintained for new and existing customers.

Negotiates Service Level Agreements (SLAs) and Operational Level Agreements (OLAs) to ensure they are correctly specified and maintained as part of the overall service design

Qualifications, skills, experience and knowledge:

The successful candidate will have worked within a Pre-Sales role and will have a strong record of success in the design and delivery of complex managed service offerings.

At least 5 years IT and telecommunications Pre-Sales experience.

Ability to deliver high quality documentation paying attention to detail.

Experience in developing high level designs.

Strong customer facing experience with an ability to articulate complex information to a mixed audience from Technical to CXO level.

Excellent interpersonal, presentation and consultancy skills.
