InterQuest are working with an excellent client based in Telford, who are continually growing and looking for an iOS / Android Apps Developer to join the team.

They are looking for an experienced iOS / Android Apps Developer to work within a team of developers responsible for a portfolio of in-house applications, websites and apps. This is to include developing and supporting solutions for iOS and Android devices in an ever increasing market.

Key accountabilities

To work within a team of developers responsible for a portfolio of in-house applications, websites and apps. Taking a leading role in the design and delivery of iOS and Android apps, leading a team of specialist app developers and working with third parties to integrate solutions or provide additional resource where required. This role is hands on and would include developing and supporting solutions for iOS and Android devices in an ever-increasing market.

1. Design and develop iOS / Android applications
2. Ensure consistent and professional delivery of user requirements.
3. Where appropriate integrate third party systems.
4. Work with the business and help form the strategy for the apps
5. Forms part of project teams for the delivery of specific projects and lead team of apps developers
6. Ensure rigorous testing regimes are conducted.
7. Liaise with the test team to ensure testing and implementation take place with the businesses full co-operation
8. Adhere to change management controls.
9. Ensure compliance with IT standards, change management and procedures.
10. To undertake any other ad hoc duties or projects as requested by the IT Director

Key skills and experience required

1. Strong iOS/Android skills with sample applications or GitHub code to demonstrate these.
2. Proficient OO design and programming skills in Objective-C and Java
3. Familiarity with iOS SDK & the Android SDK Familiarity with Xcode & Android Studio or Eclipse
4. Experience on web service integration (REST, JSON, MVC, etc)
