2nd line Support Engineer

A rare opportunity to be part of an award winning infrastructure solutions provider is now available for an IT support engineer, with a proven track record of providing technical expertise to customers on a face to face or remote basis.
Having had extensive experience in hardware and software support, this role would suit somebody who is confident is fixing server and networking issues.

This role requires:
• Experience in a technical support environment with a very strong all round technical competence
• Desktop PC's and operating systems (Windows XP/Windows7/Windows8), networking and firewalls
• Experience in server set up, configuration and support - in particular small business server 2003/8 and server 2003/8, Exchange 2003/7/10
• Experience with Anti-virus software management and rollout, backup technology, server installation, terminal server, IT security, data replication technologies
• Microsoft qualified (preferable)
