Internal IT Recruitment Consultant

Birmingham - Up to £50,000 plus bonus

InterQuest are delighted to be working alongside one of the industries most renowned boutique Digital Technology Companies to recruit a Talent & Development Manager/Senior Recruitment Lead on a permanent basis. Our client is a market leader in terms of innovation, offering both Digital services and platforms to over 150 globally based customers and due to expansion is looking to build out their Internal recruitment team.

As a newly created position this is a great opportunity for an experienced IT Recruitment Consultant to join an expanding business. You may be a 360 consultant who is looking to move away from the sales side of recruitment and focus your efforts working internally.

The main duties and responsibilities of the role will include, but not be limited to:

• Develop strong relationships across the business with managers/senior managers and directors- providing consultative advise on recruitment best practice.
• Recruit for a range of IT vacancies for our client internally
• Proactively manage internal candidate pools and provide an amazing candidate experience.
• Identifying, organise and initiate recruitment advertising activity through relevant media channels to generate prospective employees.
• Senior stakeholder management.
• Assisting in the interviewing and selection process, liaising with department managers on paperwork and preparing selected candidates for entry into the business.
• Proactively sourcing and attracting high calibre candidates

The successful candidate will ideally but not necessarily have previous experience as a recruitment lead and also able to demonstrate the below skills:

• In-depth knowledge of the complete end-to-end recruitment, re-structure and redeployment processes, including legal requirements, policy and best practice principles.
• Experience of working with recruitment systems to deliver both internal and external experienced and direct hires across a range of business functions.
• Experience of implementing a range of attraction and selection methodologies, especially innovative sourcing solutions and competency-based interviewing techniques, across a diverse range of roles.
• A knowledge of the full recruitment cycle concerning an in-house recruitment environment.
• Exceptional stakeholder management experience
• A proactive understanding of social media
• High attention to detail, particularly when under pressure and managing competing priorities
• Great communication skills; presentations (written and delivery), document design, process improvements
