A powerhouse. Bringing in management from some of the largest agencies in the North. Continually growing and looking for a Digital Strategist to join them.

Ideally - An all-rounder, with strong technical knowledge and confident facing clients; who understands what it takes to build a successful strategy. Compiled of search; paid/organic, social activity & effective use of data.
Working closely with the Strategic Director & Head of Performance. The strategist will play a key part in overseeing the continued successful delivery of every campaign they touch.

Personal particulars:

• Digitally Aware - Understanding of new technologies and best digital marketing practices, across web build, search & outreach.

• Strategic Minded – Shows an awareness and insight into the key issues our clients look to overcome. With an ability to use this to lead the wider agency towards a common strategic direction for clients.

• Client Focussed – Empathetic towards client needs, with the ability can translate these clearly across internal teams. Ensuring clients see continued ROI, making clear recommendations for optimisation.

• Articulate Communicator - overseeing all aspects of your clients Organic search strategy, making clear the approach they need to follow. Confidently facing clients to pitch, maintain relationships, report & translate results.

• Awareness - Performing competitor & client audits based on technical, content & outreach perspectives & formulating forward action.

• Team Player – With an infectious enthusiasm to work in collaboration across all teams within the agency. Able to assert themselves elegantly when a firmer hand is needed.

• Ability to negotiate - Strong negotiation skills with clients. With an ability to protect the agency’s interests whilst ensuring positive outcomes.

• 3 years in a digital role, focussed towards search. (Preferably within agency.)
• Strong technical SEO skills.
• Working knowledge of crawl-rate-optimisation; issue identification and resolution.
• Working knowledge of popular CMS and web platforms; Wordpress, Magento etc.
• Demonstrable experience of achieving strong keyword/traffic growth in competitive markets.
• Ability to manage the performance of clients, make recommendations & optimise where necessary.
• To create and present web performance reports to key business stake-holders, feeding into PPC & social-activity.
• Experience in the creation and implementation of SEO “organic” strategies for clients.
• Knowledge of Adwords, Bing Ads, Facebook and LinkedIn platforms.
• Confident speaker, with strong inter-personal skills.
